Virtual Preschool Programs
DMA virtual preschool programs bring BIG-size fun to our littlest students. Through story time, songs, games, and art making, children ages 3–6 and their teachers can explore art of every kind and exercise their own creativity. For the 2021–2022 school year, preschool programs will be offered in two formats: pre-recorded videos and/or art kits delivered to your school. Learn more about class offerings and themes here.
Virtual Go van Gogh® Workshops
Go van Gogh® brings the DMA to Pre-K through 6th grade classrooms free of charge through programs that encourage students to engage with works of art, develop and express ideas and opinions, and make personal and academic connections. All programs include art-making activities that provide opportunities for individual creative expression and are offered in English and Spanish. During the 2021–2022 school year, virtual Go van Gogh will be offered via pre-recorded videos. Learn more here and use the form below to request a program.
Virtual K–12 School Tours
Virtual guided tours of the Museum are free of charge. Trained volunteer docents lead engaging, age-appropriate tours for K–12 students on a variety of themes that encourage students to engage with works of art, develop and express ideas and opinions, and make personal and academic connections. Virtual Career Day Presentations
Museums offer a wide array of exciting careers that require an equally wide range of backgrounds. Our School Programs team is committed to sharing information about diverse Museum careers with K–12 students through engaging presentations and activities that aim to generate enthusiasm for careers in the arts and expand students’ sense of the possible.
