Dallas Museum of Art programs for teachers are accredited by the State Board for Educator Certification and may be taken for Continuing Professional Education (CPE) hours, unless otherwise noted.
Museum Forum for Teachers

Museum Forum for Teachers is an immersive weeklong summer program for educators presented by The Warehouse, the Nasher Sculpture Center, the Dallas Museum of Art, the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, and the Kimbell Art Museum. Participants spend each day at a different institution, and CPE Credit is available for participation.
Participating middle and high school teachers are invited to:
- Deepen their understanding of contemporary and modern art and architecture at renowned arts institutions in Dallas and Fort Worth.
- Develop strategies to teach, interpret, and use works of art in the classroom and in museum galleries.
- Connect with collections, resources, and staff at each museum.
- Exchange ideas with other classroom teachers.

The Dallas Museum of Art Education Department offers in-service training for K–12 teachers. In-services typically offer an overview of teaching resources offered by the DMA, gallery visits, and hands-on activities. These can be scheduled throughout the academic year, and must be scheduled at least one month in advance to allow for planning.
For groups of twenty or fewer, the cost is a flat fee of $100. For groups of 21 or more, the cost is a flat fee of $150. For more information, or to schedule an in-service, email schoolprograms@DMA.org or call 214-922-1842.
