Guided School Group Visits

Guided visits of the Museum are free of charge. Trained volunteer docents lead engaging, age-appropriate tours for K–12 students in a variety of themes that encourage students to engage with works of art, develop and express ideas and opinions, and make personal and academic connections. Learn more about tour themes here, and read answers to our frequently asked questions here

DMA staff and docents have helped classrooms with special projects, research, and custom tour themes. We invite you to request personalized support in navigating resources that meet your curricular needs by emailing schoolprograms@DMA.org.

In the meantime, we encourage you to explore our virtual tour options below. Please check back later this fall for updates on in-person field trips in 2021–2022.
