Go van Gogh® brings the Dallas Museum of Art to Pre-K through 6th grade classrooms free of charge through programs that encourage students to engage with works of art, develop and express ideas and opinions, and make personal and academic connections. All programs include art-making activities that provide opportunities for individual creative expression and are offered in both English and Spanish.

Pre-Recorded Go van Gogh Request Form (opens September 1, 2020)
Whether you are distance teaching—synchronously or asynchronously—or in the classroom, our pre-recorded video option is a flexible format that you can implement at your convenience. Upon receiving your request, we will share a link to a video version of your chosen program of choice along with a list of recommended supplies for the art-making activity. Each video is approximately 25 minutes long and includes a discussion of artworks with prompts for artful conversation and a demonstration of the art-making activity. Pre-recorded programs are available beginning September 22, 2020.
Live Virtual Go van Gogh Request Form (opens September 1, 2020)
Live virtual Go van Gogh programs are available for classrooms that are meeting synchronously via video or face-to-face. Museum staff and trained volunteers will join your class video conferencing platform and facilitate a 45-minute version of your program of choice consisting of an interactive discussion of artworks and a guided art-making activity. Educators will receive a list of recommended supplies for students to have on hand prior to the start of the program. Live virtual programs are offered Tuesday–Friday between 9:30 and 11:30 a.m. beginning September 22, 2020.
In-Person (At Your School)
To adhere to social distancing guidelines, we are currently not offering in-person Go van Gogh programs. As guidelines ease, we will begin to reimplement them; please check back regularly for updated information.
