In celebration of the opening of Inca: Conquests of the Andes, watch a documentary examining the ancient Andean Indian tradition of warp pattern weaving handed down from woman to woman for some five thousand years. Featuring a detailed demonstration of the technique on back-strap and four-stake looms by Indian weavers, and an interview with Dr. Junius Bird of the American Museum of Natural History, the film explores this significant tradition in the Inca culture.
