Make & Take: Making Motifs
Friday, August 26, 5:30-8:30 p.m.
Location: Art Studio
Mark, make motifs, and meditate on the meaning of pattern. Inspired by bogolanfini, or mud cloth, from the Bamana peoples of Mali, you will draw and paint a unique design that tells a story about an important moment or experience in your life and challenges you to investigate the complexities of positive and negative space.
This program is drop-in and seating is first come, first served.
Please note that this program is geared toward adults. Families interested in creating together should see our Open Studio program.
