Late Night Talk: Shaken, Stirred, Styled

From punch bowls to penguin shakers, and from the Gilded Age to midcentury modern, the DMA’s newest exhibition, Shaken, Stirred, Styled: The Art of the Cocktail, explores the rise of cocktail culture through a range of objects from the DMA’s permanent collection, many of which are on view for the first time. Samantha Robinson, Interim Assistant Curator of Decorative Arts and Design, will highlight the nearly fifty works that follow the development of the modern cocktail from the late 19th century to the present.
