Late Night Talk: From Cowhide to Codex: Exploring the Art and Beauty of Medieval Manuscripts

Medieval illuminated manuscripts were deeply personal projects made entirely by hand, treasured by their owners, and preserved in monastic, royal, private, and eventually public libraries across the centuries. Join Dr. Danielle Joyner, Visiting Assistant Professor in Art History at Southern Methodist Unviersity, for a closer look at these richly decorated objects and discover how they were made and used.
