This event has already passed

Enjoy two short silent films from the 1920s featuring comedy masters Buster Keaton and Charley Chase, with live piano accompaniment by Dallas-based musician Robert Edwards.

The Scarecrow (1920, 19 min.)

Two inventive farmhands compete for the love of the farmer's daughter. Buster Keaton's slapstick comedy style shines as he eludes the farmer and a mad dog to win the girl.

Mighty Like a Moose (1926, 22 min.)

An unsightly husband and wife secretly have plastic surgery to improve their looks and hilarity ensues when they don't recognize each other.

These films are part of Late Nights at the Dallas Museum of Art.
