Join fellow book lovers for lunch in the DMA’s Cook Boardroom as you enjoy the opportunity to delve more deeply into Colum McCann’s sweeping tour de force Apeirogon. The conversation will be facilitated by Rabbi David Stern, Senior Rabbi of Temple Emanu-El, President of the Central Conference of American Rabbis and head of the international rabbinic organization of the Reform Movement and co-leader Imam Omar Suleiman, an American Muslim scholar and theologically driven activist for human rights. He is the founder and president of the Yaqeen Institute for Islamic Research and an adjunct professor of Islamic studies in the graduate liberal studies program at SMU. He is co-chair emeritus of Faith Forward Dallas at Thanksgiving Square and was named one of the 500 most influential Muslims in the world by the Royal Islamic Strategic Studies Centre of Jordan. Please note that this is a book discussion, not an author event.
