On your way in, scan a QR code to view Ha Įlè, an augmented reality sculpture that draws inspiration from Indigenous pictographs and the natural beauty of the hummingbird.
Meet and Make with an Artist: Giovanni Valderas

Work alongside local artist Giovanni Valderas on a community collaboration inspired by sculptures he creates for his Latinx neighborhood of Oak Cliff. Meet Giovanni and work together to assemble an artwork full of color and vibrancy!
Open Studio: Design Your Own Car

Be inspired by a work of art created specifically for the DMA! Walk down the Concourse through Guadalupe Rosales's Drifting on a Memory, and then head to the Founder's Room to design your own lowrider–inspired car.

Need a place to take a break? Drop in anytime throughout the festival to relax and explore quiet activities brought to you by the Texas Woman's University Department of Occupational Therapy. All ages are welcome!

Visit with young artists and creators from around DFW at the Teen Artist Market in Klyde Warren Park. Peruse this local art fair and visit the Teen Advisory Council's drop–in art–making table.

Create whimsical collages with artist Olivia Arratia. Compose an abstracted landscape or make a story of wonder—the possibilities are endless!

Meet the members of the DMA Teen Advisory Council and Teen Podcast Project while you make a kumihimo bracelet or create your own designs to print a colorful pouch!
Family Tour: Makers on the Move

Take a whirlwind adventure through the Museum galleries and explore the many ways artists around the world MAKE and CREATE in this interactive tour of the Museum's collection led by Education staff. Tour is limited to the first 30 attendees; available in Spanish and English.
