Teen Renaissance features drawings, paintings, and photographs by fifteen Dallas-area high school students. Curated by the DMA’s Teen Advisory Council, a group of volunteers who work with staff to develop programs and activities for their peers, this installation provides an insider’s view into contemporary teenage experiences. The Renaissance was a time when art and culture flourished with new perspectives. This exhibition showcases the innovation and creative talents of an up-and-coming generation of artists with unique points of view, who are inspired by their own personal histories and the art that came before them.
