Impressionist Paintings from the Reves Collection

January 31, 2015 to March 22, 2015 | Focus II Gallery

Impressionist Paintings from the Reves Collection presents thirteen paintings from the DMA’s Wendy and Emery Reves Collection in Focus Gallery II on the Museum’s first level. The exhibition includes major works by Paul Cézanne, Camille Pissarro, and Pierre-Auguste Renoir. The Wendy and Emery Reves Galleries, located on the Museum’s third level, opened to the public in 1985 and feature a world-renowned collection of impressionist, post-impressionist, and modern art. The Library and Grand Salon of the Reves Galleries, which usually house these masterpieces, are currently undergoing refurbishment, allowing a unique opportunity for visitors to experience these masterpieces in a more intimate setting.
