As the city’s art museum, the Dallas Museum of Art plays an important role in creating and sharing opportunities for our community to engage with art and creativity. We want our visitors not only to feel excited and inspired by our collections and exhibitions, but to feel safe and welcome in our galleries.
In accordance with CDC recommendations that include Dallas County, we are recommending that all Museum visitors and staff wear masks or face coverings while inside the Museum. If you do not have a mask or face covering, and would like one, the Museum will provide you with one upon arrival. In addition, Dallas County’s threat level was recently moved to orange, or “extreme caution,” and officials advise everyone to take extra precautions, such as wearing a face mask indoors and socially distancing.
The DMA is a community space where all are welcome, so we ask for everyone’s support and collaboration in following CDC recommendations during your visit. This will ensure that you—and everyone around you—will have a great experience at the Museum and can enjoy it safely.
