As the city’s museum, the Dallas Museum of Art plays an important role in creating and sharing opportunities for our community to engage with art and creativity. We want our visitors not only to feel excited and inspired by our collections and exhibitions, but to feel safe and welcome in our galleries.
In response to Governor Abbott’s Executive Order announcing an end to the statewide mask mandate and allowing businesses to operate at 100% capacity beginning March 10, 2021, we wanted to make you aware that the Dallas Museum of Art’s COVID-safety measures will remain in place. The Museum will continue to require visitors and staff to follow the protocols we have established that are recommended by the CDC, including wearing a mask, social distancing, and limiting capacity.
It is our top priority to maintain a safe environment for our community, and we do not intend to change our current practices until it has been determined that it is safe to do so.
Our Museum is a community space where all are welcome, so we ask for everyone’s support and collaboration in following new protocols for your visit; this will ensure that you—and everyone around you—will have a great experience at the Museum and can enjoy it safely.
